We realize that your taking on a construction project can seem overwhelming and confusing and it is our goal to make the process as painless as possible.There is no denying that an addition/remodel project is inconvenient and at times challenging, especially if living in the house during construction.We will provide a timeline that outlines the construction process with deadlines for the many decisions that you will need to make and also will provide lists of recommended suppliers and vendors which helps eliminate the guesswork in knowing where to go. Helping you stay one step ahead in the decision making will keep the project running smoother and stay on schedule.
Accessibility
Because NCB only takes on two to four projects at a time—this keeps us from being stretched too thinly so that you will never feel like you are being ignored or neglected. While sometimes it might be necessary to utilize a project manager to oversee a project, you will always have direct contact with Ken Neuhoff on a daily basis. We believe that accessibility is crucial and make ourselves available via telephone, email, or text messaging throughout the day and many times well into the evenings. You will never get the feeling of being avoided or get frustrated about your phone calls not being returned promptly.
Listening
Over the course of the typical addition/remodel project there are countless meetings and conversations covering the details about your personal project. NCB listens not only to the verbal communications but also the non-verbal as well. We strive to develop a personal relationship so that we understand what you are trying to say even if you cannot put it into words.
Budget
The budget is based on a detailed estimate that has been provided to you prior to starting any project. We take the budget very seriously and strive to keep the project within the estimated allowances without compromising the quality of work that our customers have come to expect from NCB. We provide budget updates at least monthly or more often if desired. The budget update shows exactly where your project stands by comparing the estimated costs to the actual costs in one of the over 25 expense categories. If at any time you choose to spend more on an allowance item or decide to expand the scope of the work, we will make you aware of the additional costs before the work is done and keep detailed records in the budget update.
